Run To Fight The Battle Against HIV- Aristocrat Marathon 2019 at Chennai
Children are our greatest assets, but a lot of childhood dreams are lost towards the monstrosity that’s HIV. This March take a stand and let’s vow to fight HIV.
The 2019 Aristocrat Marathon is an effort to create awareness about HIV among children. The marathon will be held on 10th March and will flag off from Olcott Memorial School, Besant Nagar, Chennai.
Why Should You Participate
Aristocrat Marathon is being held with one firm goal- Creating a brighter future for the HIV infected children’s life and education. HIV stigma remains an unwanted reality and the high cost of medications, despite the support from the government, prevents many children from seeking medical assistance. Such kids also face discrimination from not only schools during admissions but are often abandoned by their families and left to fend for themselves.
With your participation, we can all create a positive environment and create awareness about this social injustice. Not to mention, the funds generated will go in improving the lives of such kids, through medication, education & basic needs.
The marathon will have 5 categories- 42KM, 21KM, 10KM, 5KM and 2KM runs, so participate in one you’re most comfortable with.
